Online Bar-Coding System!
Our online bar-coding system will offer ease of use, plus a way for you to track your sales. You will find that it takes much less time to tag your items using the bar-coding software than the traditional hand-written tags.
For the Spring/ Summer 2010 Arlington event, you will have two options for preparing your tags. You may choose to use the online bar-coding system or you may still hand write your tags.
***If you decide to handwrite tags there will be an additional fee.
Tagging instructions for Bar-coded Tags: 1)log on to www.myjbftags.com 2)create an account
3)enter & print your tags 4)track our sales online We will not accept any tags that have crossouts or scribbles.
If you change any information on your tag it must be done by making a new tag!
Please exam all printed tags for smearing and incomplete printed bar-codes.

Tagging Helpful Hints
Only Spring/ Summer childrens and maternity clothing will be accepted for this sale. Please inspect your items carefully at home-we will also inspect them at drop off.
Clothes that are soiled, stained or with holes, will not be accepted.
Just Between Friends Arlington reserves the right to deny any unacceptable items. We accept Girls & Boys clothing sizes preemie thru Preteen. No Junior or Adult clothing accepted except maternity. PRICING You set the price!
*Price to sell keeping in mind the quality, name brand and condition of your items.
*JUST BETWEEN FRIENDS suggests starting at 1/3 of the original price.
*We also suggest that you let your clothing items be included in half price sales.
*Mark the starting price up if it is something that you are sentimental about, but of course, it is your decision if it is half price or not.
*Price your items in $1.00 or .50 cent increments. No .99 cents or other increments, please. .
*Click here for pricing guideline examples. PINNING Use only one inch or larger safety pins to attach tag.
*No straight pins. Attach safety pin side to side, either horizontal or vertical on the card.
*Pin clothing sets securely together with pants hung on the backside of the shirt and pinned at the waist on the hanger.
*Both pieces can be viewed without unpinning them.
*Pants hung on a separate hanger tend to come off the hanger and then get separated from the top.
HANGING Clothes must be hung on appropriately sized hangers with the hook pointing to the left and the tag on the right shoulder.
*If you are facing your item, it should make a question mark with the hanger.
*Children's clothing sizes 4 and under needs to be on child size hangers if at all possible.
*You will not get your hangers back. See example above.
Spending a little extra time getting your items ready will mean more money $$$ for you.
Items that are cleaned, ironed, and starched, with all pieces attached, and loose threads clipped, sell much better!!
Hand-written Tags: Please, follow the instructions to avoid any confusion, nothing smaller or larger. USE ONLY 3 X 5 CARDS. NO OTHER SIZE WILL BE ACCEPTED (except tag template on cardstock)
Write a "D" (Donate) in the top right corner of your tag (under the line) if you want an item to be donated at the end of the sale should it not sell. Leave it blank, if it will be picked up on pick up day.
Red star in lower right corner of tag next to the price if you DO NOT want the item discounted.
*Red star tells the customer that the item is full price.
NO CROSSOUTS, WHITE OUTS OR TAPE OUTS OF ANY KIND ON TAGS. If you change any information on your tag it must be done by making a new tag!
Your tag should look like the example above. It's just that easy.
*Please pay careful attention to your consignor number and make sure not to transpose your numbers.
*We will not accept any items that have crossouts or scribbles on the tags.
*Please follow these instructions EXACTLY and refer to illustrations on this page.
